I have been running between the IT team and the Production team from the past 4 hours trying to gather all possible info and was trying to get a date fixed. Now the dates have finally been confirmed.
I had promised an announcement well in advance so that everyone can prepare for the down time. Hence, tomorrow's Scheduled Weekly Maintenance has been postponed to the 27th. The Maintenance will be carried out along with the Hardware and a Network architecture upgrade. The expected down time is 24 hours.
This maintenance and architecture upgrade is expected to be the last yet a sure step in welcoming the patches that will follow shortly.

I understand that this has become a wall of post. I am trying to give out as much information as I can. This thread will remain closed for the moment and will be opened once the servers will go offline on the D day. I will be around throughout the outage and am expecting to have a chat session.
