Quarter Slots on Newly Created Accounts

This announcement is long overdue. After discussions with the Sword team and IMC, we have reached a conclusion on the Quarter Slots.

The original game design allowed newly created accounts to have four free Quarter Slots in a server. During the infant days of the new world, the Sword team decided to increase the number of free Slots to 15 on all accounts as a token of appreciation from all of us.

Along with the launch of 3.0, this limit went back to the original 4 slots. Since then we have been in discussion with IMC and the team to come to a final conclusion regarding QS.

New Accounts - Accounts created after 17 September, 2009

We are going back to the original game design. Newly created accounts; since 17th September, 2009 will now have four free Quarter Slots.

As you explore the game and reach higher levels or arrive at a point where you will require more characters, Quarter Slot Permits can be purchased from the in-game market place.

This decision will also allow IMC to deliver new contents to our version much faster as it will not require the extra bit of coding and modification to the patches.

Old Accounts - Accounts created prior to 17 September, 2009

The old accounts that had 15 Quarter Slots will remain the way it is.

Old Accounts that were missing the free Permits -

Most of the old accounts that had issues with Quarter Slots have been rectified. We have injected 11 QS Permits to all accounts that logged in during August, 2009.

However some players missed the injection as they did not login during August. We will be injecting 11 Quarter Slot Permits to these old users based on their Premium status through Customer Support Department until Friday, 27 November. Please keep in mind that the injection may take over a week since it will be done on a case by case basis.

Free2Play members can purchase extra permits from the in-game market place.

We understand that this decision favors many and some may not agree. However this is our final decision and it has been reached after weeks of discussion; duly keeping the big picture in mind.
