Sword of the New World Forums are moving!

In an effort to better server the community (I know: lol), we are beginning the process of integrating the Sword of the New World Community website and forums into the new GamersFirst. The first step of this process will happen on July 14th when we will open the Sword of the New World Forums on www.GamersFirst.com. Shortly thereafter we will disable posting on these forums.

To post on the GamersFirst forums you MUST have a GamersFirst account. After creating a GamersFirst account you can link you current Sword account to it. All forum and game accounts are linked on the new forums (meaning if you get banned in game, you'll get banned on the forums and vice versa), which will give us a stronger ability to control players who abuse the rules.

Due to the topical shift from these forums to the GamersFirst forums we will need to change the structure of our community. Specifically, we'll need to leave behind our member levels. I know this will be a slightly jarring experience but we do feel the new GamersFirst forums will be a much needed change of pace and a great new experience for our ever-expanding player base ($10 says someone is going to use this line against me on the first page ).

To prepare for this change, in the coming weeks we are going to be taking applications for new community moderators! We are going to be releasing all our current mods of duty. We greatly appreciate your efforts and hope you do apply to be a GamersFirst mod. We will be looking for about 10-15 moderators including people who speak German, Turkish, Portueguese, Dutch, Italian and Spanish.
