So, I haven't had a chance to post this but I am officially back on Sword of the New World. As some of you know I was an original Sword of the New World team member (formerly the Lead AM and then the Associate Producer). Last fall I was promoted to be the Associate Producer over War Rock and last week I was promoted to be the Producer of FPS Games for GamersFirst.

While Sword of the New World is not a "Shooter" or FPS title our CEO, COO/CTO and Director of Game Operations all agreed that I would be a needed element to the new Sword team we are building. I hope my "vast" knowledge of the game and Expert Family will come in handy as I delve back into the New World.

Also joining me in this adventure is GamersFirst's other producer who you'll all meet later this week. He is in charge of all RPG titles (which includes Sword). We are also working to fill a newly vacant position: Associate Producer of Sword of the New World. This person would be in charge of the day-to-day operations for Sword.

My involvement in Sword of the New World will be much deeper than it has been in the past few months. My primary focus will be getting the rest of 2.9 out the door (#1 on our plate right now), then getting and testing the hell out of the 3.0.13 patch. Finally I'll also be working to plan new events and promotions for the game.

My compatriot (who can introduce himself) the Producer of RPGs will be working to update the current website and prepare for the release of intergrated GamersFirst website.

Anyway, it's good to be back and I hope we can take Sword further!
